Submissions closed at midnight 30 June 2025 (AWST).

If you've been selected to compete or participate somewhere outside the City of Swan, you may be eligible for a $500, $750, or $1,000 Cash Donation to help you get there.

Here's what you'll need to be eligible:

Recent proof that you live in Swan

e.g. a letter addressed to you from the last 3 months
An official letter proving you've been selected to compete or participate, as well as when and where.

e.g. an email from Basketball WA addressed to you, naming the tournament you've qualified for and its dates and location
or
A letter from the Kimberley Art and Photographic Prize addressed to you, saying where and when your art will be exhibited.
To apply before your event dates. We can't give Cash Donations for events that have already happened.
To be all paid up on any money you owe Swan - if you have unpaid rates or fines, we can't fund your Cash Donation.

If you're the guardian or carer of the person who's applying, you need:

Proof of their address in Swan.
e.g. a recent letter addressed to them.
An official selection letter proving they've been chosen to compete or participate, including their name, address, and the dates and location of the event.
If they're over 18, make sure they've paid any rates or fines they might owe Swan.
To apply before their event dates. We can't give Cash Donations for events that have already happened.
Evidence that you're their guardian or carer if your family name is different to theirs.

It may take up to 4 weeks to hear whether your application is successful. It may take up to 30 days after that for successful applicants to receive payment.

Once you start your application, you can come back to it any time - just make sure you save every 15 minutes, and submit before your event dates.
